Abstract
The principal aim of the article as the author sees it is to find out the the internal idea of Gogol's well-known texts by revealing the correspondences between the special ways of the texts organization with mental and physical features of the author himself and to show as the letters correspond in inner way to the asthetic substance of Gogol's texts. The analysis of the beginnings and the endings of Gogol stories reveals the evidence of these correspondences.
