Abstract
Throughout the existence of a puppet state Manchuko, Japan implemented the program of settlement Japanese and Korean agricultural colonists in Manchuria. Japanese settlements had military strategic significance. They were set up near the border with the Soviet Union and had become a mainstay of the Japanese military and political influence. Korean settlers did not enjoy the confidence as much as Japanese. Their settlements were designated to be the economic base of Japanese aggression.
