- Abstract
- The author describes the essence and features of a new model of relationship between Russia and Vietnam as well as the role in its formation of the Declaration on Strategic Partnership between two countries, signed on March 1, 2001. Main trends and perspectives of the Russian-Vietnamese relations are also considered in the light the agreements reached during the official visit to Vietnam in October, 2010 of D. Medvedev, President of the Russian Federation.
