- Abstract
- The article is devoted to regulation of labor contracts system in China by example of the Labor Code of the PRC (1994) and the PRC Law on Employment Contracts (2007). This legal institution is a major means of protecting the constitutional rights of citizens of the PRC in the workplace. Its introduction into the legal system is regarded by the government as part of a strategy to reduce social tensions in society caused by economic reforms.
