Abstract

In the article the author considers the three collections of documents and materials on history of the higher education and the science in the USSR from 1941 till 1945, published in Samara in 2008. The numerous facts testifying to the considerable contribution of scientists and teachers of the higher school in achievement of the Victory are mentioned.
