Abstract
The article deals with the role of Brazil in the Second World War. Brazil was the only Latin American State which took direct part in the battle against Germany on the European theatre of war operations. Special attention is paid to the study of the character of the Brazilian Expeditionary Force’s warfare on the Italian theatre of war operations and also of the actions of the fighters of the Brazilian Air Force.
