Abstract
The article presents the image of Soviet Union, created by the famous Spanish American writers – such as S.Vallejo, P.Neruda, G.Garcia Marquez, N.Guillen, O.Paz and K.Fuentes. The perception of the USSR is based mainly on the ideology of a writer, who, following his political orientation, creates apologetic or negative image of Soviet Union.
