Abstract

The article discusses the history of the creation and activities of the film company "Manyin" on the territory of the puppet state of Manzhouguo. The reasons for its rapid rise and the role in the implementation of cultural and ideological expansion of Japan in the North-Eastern China are analyzed. The main directions of activity of the film company are defined, the main genres and features of the film production which was let out by it are considered. The place and role of the company in the structure of political and ideological bodies of Manzhouguo are shown.
